Prison Sandbox
You’ll live the day-to-day grind of prison life - from roll call to lockdown - while navigating shifting alliances, an underground economy, and unpredictable events. The prison reacts to your actions: guards remember your offenses, factions respond to your loyalty or betrayal, and the flow of contraband changes with every shake-up.
Your goal? That’s up to you. Plan a bold escape through tunnels or disguises, manipulate your way into an early release, incite chaos to mask your getaway, or rise through the ranks to control the prison from the inside. With multiple systems intertwining - from gossip and bribery to riots and long-term heist-like plans - no two runs will ever play out the same.
The World
The prison isn’t just a backdrop - it’s alive.
Every inmate has a personality, every guard follows a routine, and the balance of power is always shifting. Corridors echo with deals whispered under breath, fights spark without warning in the yard, and rumors travel faster than contraband.
The facility itself is a maze of cell blocks, workshops, kitchens, medical bays, and hidden corners where the right player can find opportunity. Day and night cycles bring different risks: daylight means watchful guards and rigid schedules, while night opens the door to stealth - and danger.
Your world is ruled by two forces: the official system of rules and routines, and the unofficial network of favors, debts, and threats that runs beneath it. Both are dangerous. Both can be used to your advantage.

Life Inside
Daily Routine Your days are structured around roll calls, meals, work shifts, recreation, and lockdowns. Missing any of them draws attention - unless you know how to create the right distractions. Every schedule is an obstacle and an opportunity. Factions & Alliances Prison life runs on loyalty and reputation. You’ll meet gang leaders, loners, informants, and opportunists. Choosing sides can gain you protection and resources, but burn too many bridges and you’ll find yourself alone in a place where no one survives alone. The Underground Economy Money isn’t just cash here - cigarettes, snacks, stolen tools, and even information can be traded. You can work legitimate jobs like laundry or kitchen duty for a slow trickle of resources, or take bigger risks by smuggling goods, running scams, or manipulating others into doing your dirty work. Gossip & Rumors Stories spread fast inside the walls. Some are true, others are traps. Your name - and what people think you’ve done - will open doors or slam them shut. Constant Tension Violence can erupt at any moment, lockdowns can disrupt your plans, and cell searches can wipe out weeks of preparation. Survival means adapting, watching, and always having a backup plan.Power & Survival
Social Manipulation Inside these walls, strength isn’t just about muscle - it’s about leverage. You can earn influence through favors, intimidation, or calculated generosity. Protect a weaker inmate and you might gain a loyal ally. Betray the wrong person, and you could have a price on your head before nightfall. Guard Dynamics Guards aren’t just faceless obstacles. Each has routines, preferences, and a tolerance level for trouble. Some are by-the-book and hard to sway. Others can be bribed, blackmailed, or simply distracted. The more heat you draw, the more attention they give you - and not the good kind. Fear & Respect Your reputation is currency. A feared inmate can command silence and obedience, while a respected one can unite allies for bigger plans. How you earn that standing - through intimidation, kindness, or cunning - is entirely up to you. Conflict & Retaliation Fights are a fact of life. Sometimes you’ll want to start them; other times you’ll be avoiding them at all costs. A brawl in the yard might be a personal vendetta… or a cover for slipping away unnoticed. The Long Game Power isn’t won in a day. Building influence, smuggling the right tools, and manipulating events take time. Patience and foresight are as valuable as any weapon.Breaking Out
There’s no single “right” way to escape. Every prison run is its own puzzle, and the pieces change depending on your choices, relationships, and timing.
Physical Escapes- Tunneling: Dig under walls over weeks, hiding dirt and covering your tracks.
- Climbing: Use stolen tools or improvised gear to scale fences and walls.
- Breaking Locks: Craft makeshift lockpicks or bribe access to restricted keys.
- Disguises: Blend into work crews or pose as a guard to slip out unnoticed.
- Forged Papers: Manipulate bureaucracy and fake early release forms.
- Bribery: Pay the right person at the right time to look the other way.
- Setups: Frame others to shift suspicion away from yourself.
- Riots: Stir up unrest to distract guards and open escape paths.
- Mass Escapes: Turn the prison into a stampede of bodies and confusion.
- Targeted Disruptions: Cause “accidents” that disable key security systems.

Replayability
Every run of Prison Sandbox unfolds differently.
- Procedural Events: Random cell searches, guard shifts, contraband shortages, and unexpected opportunities keep you on your toes.
- Dynamic Relationships: NPC attitudes shift based on your choices, meaning the same plan may fail - or succeed - in a new run.
- Evolving Economy: Prices and scarcity change based on your actions and the prison’s state.
- Multiple Endings: Escape, dominate the prison, live quietly in the shadows, or fail spectacularly.
Connected Universe
For those who’ve played Point & Touch Thief, there’s an extra twist - the thief protagonist will appear in Prison Sandbox as a special inmate with unique dialogue, hidden connections, and exclusive opportunities.
This cameo not only rewards returning players but also adds an extra layer of replayability, letting you experience certain events and escape routes in ways no other character can.
